Our #3 reason you’ll want to be in attendance comes in two parts: the food and the feelgoodness.
The Four Seasons catering team is known for pulling out all the stops at GHGH. This year guests will nosh on mini Beef Wellington, wine-poached with goat cheese and pistachio crust, and lobster bisque shooters—plus a spread of antipasti and, get this, a potato bar. What is a potato bar, you ask? A glorious setup of tots and fries (also where you’re sure to find me for most of the night).
There will also be Hilliard’s beers, wines courtesy of Smasne Cellars, signature cocktails, and bubbles galore. And, obviously, cakes and sweet treats, including gluten-free options from Stone Layne Baked Specialties.
Finally, lest we forget among all the eating and drinking revelry, the big reason you don’t want to miss the 2014 Get Hitched Give Hope gala is this: It is a tremendously fun event only made better by the fact that it’s all in the name of love and charity.
To date, Get Hitched Give Hope has raised over $417,000 for the Dream Foundation and the Young Survival Coalition, nonprofits dedicated to helping those facing and surviving life-changing illnesses by providing much-needed support and granting final wishes. Love breeding love, y’all. And your chance to be a significant part of it.
