Three Things You Can’t Miss at Get Hitched Give Hope 2014: #2
By Amanda Zurita
An amazing list of auction items.
You could, theoretically, plan your entire wedding at GHGH with all of the auction items available. An engagement photo session with Persimmon Images, a reception dress and accessories from The Dress Theory, photo-booth services, venues, hair and makeup packages, food, DJs, honeymoons…everything you need is up for grabs, and you can often score a great deal.
Also there’s me.
Hello, I’m Amanda Zurita (or the “new Laura Cassidy” by way of introduction), the editor-in-chief of Seattle Met Bride and Groom. We’re auctioning off a four-hour shopping excursion with yours truly where we will zip around town in a limo searching for the best elements for your big day.
Need an outside opinion that doesn’t come from your (biased) best friend or future mother-in-law? I’m your girl. Generally overwhelmed by heel height, gown styles, veil length, necklines, hair and makeup, et al? I’ve got you there, too.
It’s my job to style and shop for those beautiful elements you see in our print pages, meaning I’ll help bring that same editorial eye to your own wedding. That is, if you’re the highest bidder.
Keep in mind that whatever items you raise your paddle for, you’ll be doing the greater good of providing support for those in need through the Dream Foundation and Young Survival Coalition.
Purchase tickets now for the Thursday, October 23 event at the Four Seasons Hotel, and stay tuned as we bring you more and more reasons to attend next week.
