The tagline on the right hand side of the Get Hitched Give Hope spread in the current issue of Seattle Met Bride & Groom reads, “Over $417,000 raised since 2007 and counting.”
The intent and expectation in that statement is strong; the powerhouse team of Seattle wedding vendors behind this awesome effort are passionate about raising money.
The tagline on the left hand side of the spread is equally strong: “Get gorgeous goods by giving back.” You see, they’re equally passionate about you getting the best wedding services and having the most amazing day in the coolest, most win-win way.
On Thursday, October 23, couples from all over the Seattle area will gather at the Four Seasons Seattle for this year’s GHGH bash, dubbed the Black and White Ball. Dozens of the city’s top wedding vendors will be there, too—many of them with donated auction lots ready to go.
Think expertly designed wedding flowers, gorgeous invitation suites, photography sessions with the best eyes around, goods for pre-parties and pampering, and even the best in wedding-day fashion.
When you secure an auction item, the money you pledge goes not to the vendor but to GHGH’s chosen charity, the Dream Foundation Young Survivor’s Coalition.
Get Hitched Give Hope is one of our city’s leading goodwill fundraisers, and it’s a darn good time to boot. For couples, it’s an amazing opportunity to plan a wedding and help others at the very same time.
