Happy National S’mores Day!

Behold, the beloved wedding dessert in all it's marshmallow glory.

In celebration of the sticky-gooey-sweet campfire treat and wedding-dessert favorite, we present three delicious ways to serve s’mores at your Seattle shindig (don’t be surprised if your guests ask for s’more):

1) Custom S’mores & S’mores Bars
Leave the toasting to the pros and hire Seattle’s S’more Amore to cater your wedding or rehearsal dinner. Their graham crackers are made from scratch and are flavored with honey, molasses, cinnamon, and sugar, and their handmade, naturally flavored mallows are available in classic vanilla or mint, strawberry, coconut, and special seasonal offerings. And did we mention their torching method produces a creme brûlée crust? Taste it to believe it.

2) S’mores Cake
Work with your local baker to create this new twist on the traditional wedding cake: serve guests mini s’mores cakes like these scrumptious custard versions by Hint of Vanilla.

3) S’mores Ice Cream Sandwiches
S’mores are fine and dandy on their own, but mix the main ingredients (mallows, chocolate, and crushed graham crackers) with vanilla or rocky road ice cream from Molly Moon’s and then sandwich it all between graham crackers? (a la this recipe) Well, that’s just downright decadent.

Still hungry for more? Check out these local s’mores events to get a taste of the melty treat.
