We were on our way to my parents’ house on Thanksgiving; I was driving, he was in the passenger seat. All of a sudden he says the tire is flat and tells me pull over immediately, so I do. He gets out and inspects the tire, fiddles around a bit, and yells that I need to come out and look at the tire, because there’s a rock in it. When I got outside he was bent down over the tire, where he’d cleverly wedged a ring between the treads.
