We were at Funtasia in Everett when Eric, then the Stranger art editor, now director at Western Bridge, bought a plastic spider ring from a machine and got down on one knee at the snack bar. Before the wedding he replaced the spider ring with a custom set by my sister, Sally Brock, whose shop is called Fancy + Pants.
